How towers work
Genesis equips exactly five towers per battle from a full-game pool of 15. Demo names below come from Ironhide tower Devlogs and the Games Press kit — not Kingdom Rush 5: Alliance tables.
- Equip five towers before each stage (official site + Ironhide Q&A).
- Full game targets 15 towers with synergies (Steam; 15 icons on post-launch tier list intro).
- Demo locked six official names — entity pages OK.
- Lane jobs: barracks block, archers/mages shred, artillery clears clumps.
- Each of the 14 confirmed towers has four named skills (see Tower skills below; Arcane Forger's skill names are not confirmed); damage, range and skill numbers stay unknown until HUD-locked post-launch gameplay frames.
- Community nicknames now map to official tower names (table below); 14 of the 15 towers have their own pages; Arcane Forger is not confirmed and has no page yet.
Tower skills: the four ability names for every tower
Every one of the 15 towers in Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis carries four named skills. Ironhide's tower-level devlog sets out the pattern: skills open as a tower levels up, one step asks you to choose between options, and the ultimate is the final unlock. The skill panel in the Genesis tower room lists all four names, with the ultimate last.
The names below come from the in-game tower skill panels, shown in order in AmericanComputerHacker's walkthrough of all 15 towers (sBVXE6XhIS8, 0:23–8:39). Every name also matches a community guide's tower tier list (60 of 60) and a community guide's tower synergy guide (57 of 60 listed there, all matching). The 15 tower names match Ironhide's official launch roster.

How to read these names
- Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis only. These skill names belong to the Genesis tower pool. Kingdom Rush 1–5 and Kingdom Rush Vengeance towers that share a theme have different kits, so don't mix them.
- Order follows the in-game panel. Skill 4 is always the tower's ultimate; a community guide also calls the fourth skill of each tower its ultimate.
- Tower pages: click a tower name in the table to open its page. Arcane Forger is not confirmed: its skill names come from one video, and it has no tower page yet.

Tower unlock stars (Steam)
Three towers are ready from your first stage. The rest open once your total star count reaches a set number. The values below are the ones where at least two sources give the same number (two community wikis). Where they differ or only one source lists a value, we say so instead of guessing. On iOS and Android, some towers are bought in-app instead of unlocked with stars.
Patch 1 is live · Patch 1 went live on Steam on 7 October 2026 and lowered 15 star unlocks. The first column is the value listed before the patch; the second is the official Patch 1 value where the notes list one. Last checked 2026-10-12.
